I Lost My Passion.

So, I’ve lost my passion. Now what?

Have you ever had that sinking feeling where you just don’t have the excitement you once did he? Did you wake up one morning and realize you have lost all your passion for where you are, what you are doing, and where you are going?  The loss of enthusiasm in your life can be a huge emotional event. It leaves a large hole in our well-being that can begin to be inundated with fear, anxiety, and disappointment.

Have no fear and do not be disappointed. There are ways to rock yourself out of this slump and reclaim your enthusiasm for life, work, and everything else ahead of you.

You can reclaim your passion and excitement! No more excuses, no more whining. You now possess the power to reignite your enthusiasm!

  1. Take stock. List all the great things that you have accomplished. Write it down! Take a moment and be proud of these things! Knowing that you’ve achieved in the past will help you realize that other great achievements are just ahead of you!
  2. Say thank you. List the people and things that you are thankful for. Then, take a moment and actually thank those people. It is amazing to see the impact you can have on someone else just with the two words “Thank You”. Not only is this good for your spirit, other people like to help those that are genuinely thankful!
  3. Set some goals! Write down the things you want to accomplish over the next 1, 3, and 5 years! Did you know that less that 12% of the population actually have written goals? It’s been shown that people are 5 times more likely to reach their goals if they were written down!
  4. Take action NOW! Want to have your passion back? Take some action towards your goals! Do something that helps you get closer to the things you want to accomplish. Even small steps forward can have huge impacts on our confidence and enthusiasm.

Everyone has the capacity for passion and excitement in their lives, but it is up to each individual to take steps to reclaim and replenish our enthusiasm from time to time!

Stay passionate and always be enthusiastic!
